Treat - Sexy Mother Pucker

I've had my eye on this little number for a while, Soap & Glory really have upped it with their makeup collection this year, I've had this before about a year or so ago I got it as a gift for Christmas and I've intended to re-buy it since (I've taken my time) but today I was looking round my local Boots when I spotted it and the moment I tried it on it reminded me of Christmas, I know a bit weird since we are in the midst of July but after pulling the puppy eyes at my Mum she gave in, £9 is a little pricey for lipgloss but its worth it, I can't fault anything, at first I was hovering  towards the plum colours but I then I remembered my makeup bag consists of dark colours, so I settled on Pink Apricot which smells divine and is a pinky colour, though on application it's more nudey. I've been lackering it on as I can't get enough of the tingly feeling. However don't get me wrong it's not Rosie-Huntington Whitley in a tube!

Purple Lips?

I've made it clear that I'm not the biggest fan of the purple lip trend but after stumbling upon this picture of the beautiful Daphne Groeneveld I've decided I really want to give the colour I try. The shade I have chosen is Lush Life by MAC which is part of their Mineralize Rich Lipstick. It's a pricey £20 but I do believe you get what you pay for. I'd use my MAC RubyWoo everyday if it were acceptable to have a bright red lips daily. I see this look with a tan and a subtle smokey eye. Expect a full review once purchased! What do you think yey or nay?

Imagine credit to beautyjunkiesunite as it was the only decent image of the lipstick!

Surprise new love - Jimmy Choo Flash

Anyone who knows me will know I'm a perfume addict, but I'm also very picky when it comes to perfume so I rarely like to be surprised, for example every perfume my boyfriend has ever bought me I've had to pre approved of. But his parents went away and brought me this back as a lovely gift. I've had Jimmy Choo Orginal since about February when all the hype around it began and there is next to nothing left of that so I was excited to try their new one. And I can honestly say I haven't been disappointed when I first smelt it I assumed it had the same base notes with Cedarwood. However it's a lot more fruity and floral with notes of white flower and tangerine. I'm sat here smelling it and trying to explain it, it's rich without being over powering. I know I love a perfume when I reach for it whenever I'm getting ready for a while now I've religiously used my Victoria's Secret - Noir Sexy Little Things but I find myself instinctively going for this. If you haven't tried it you really must. Like I said I'm a perfume hoarder so expect a lot of posts on the subject!

Kukee - Midi Rings

Didn't expect to be blogging three times in one day! These little gems came early! I've been looking for midi rings for a while  ever since I saw Barbara from The Persian Babe sporting some. I've looked everywhere you would normally assume to have them, Topshop, River Island and sadly all I could find in Topshop was some rather over priced rose gold ones and as much as I love rose gold I've finally accpeted it will never suite my skin tone. Then I discovered Kukee! So many bargains on there it will defiantly become my go to for simple jewellery. I got a pack of 4 for £3 so I really can't complain delivery was fast and they fit perfectly I can see them becoming a staple in my jewellery collection! Oh and for anyone interested I'm wearing Barry M's new Gelly Shine collection in Lychee it's the perfect nude.

Illamasqua Hydra Veil

Post number two already! While I was doing my usual rounds of blogs/Facebook/Twitter/Instagram, Illamasqua's Instagram posted I sort of 'Illamasqua Hydra Veil for idiots' now I had to admit I was confused when this first came out, is it a primer? Is it a moisturiser. In fact from review it seems to be a mix of both, I sadly suffer with bouts of dry skin and I try everrrryyything I mean everything to combat it so with a 4.5 star review on the website and a desperate need to fit in with the cool kids, I think I'll have to dabble in one come payday. Have you tried it? Let me know!

First post - Foundation

It only seems fitting that my first post is what I would consider to be the most important part of my makeup. I doubt for long though as I'm nearing payday and I've had my eyes of the SmashBox primer for a while now. But I don't see myself changing foundation for a while, The Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation is the best foundation I've found in a long time. I'd heard a lot of bloggers say that it's a cheaper duplicate for the Estee Lauder Double Wear - Stay In Place. Now sadly I cannot comment on the similarity as I've only swatched the Estee Lauder foundation, as I always struggle to justify spending anything above £15 on foundation. However I cannot sing the Wake Me Up Foundation praises more, everything from the texture to the dewy glow it leaves on the skin. I know at first when I swatched it in the shop the glitter was an instant put off but after walking around for a while in it and some reassurance from my boyfriend I purchased it and though I hate to admit it I quite like the tinges of glitter that my cheeks have when it hits the light. Although I found no problem finding a tone to match my skin (ivory) I am aware there is limited range in this particular foundation. I would recommend going a shade up from what you normally are because the application is thin even if you do apply several layers. Now just to sum this lengthy first post up, this is the third foundation brush I had, my first two were MAC but in fairness in my youth I did not appreciate them like I would do now, even so I find MAC brushes almost absorb the foundation before you get a chance to apply it, I am convinced I've found the perfect foundation brush and its Topshop! At £8 I cannot rave more about this brush, the only problem I find with is it is the staining but maybe that's my fault for not cleaning it as often as I should!

Thank you for reading my first post, apologies for the crappy quality picture that's an Instagram photo for you. If you have any questions;
